In 2025, CYPC responded to the challenge of slightly poor inflow from the Yangtze River with effective countermeasures, and operated the world's largest clean energy corridor through lean operation and maintenance, thus maximizing the comprehensive benefits of cascade hydropower plants, and ensuring water supply, power generation, navigation and ecological security of the Yangtze River Basin.

Securing energy supply:

Total electricity generation from six cascade hydropower plants: 307.194 TWh .Equivalent to replacing standard coal consumption: 93 million tons.

Strengthening safety control:

CYPC continuously improves its safety management system, fostering a safety culture with the core concept of "five kinds of safety promotion", and maintains the work safety goal of "zero casualties and zero equipment accidents".

Pursuing perfection:

CYPC has been operating and managing the cascade hydropower plants by practicing the production concept of "Accurate Control, Lean Operation and Meticulous Maintenance" in depth, and carrying out joint optimal scheduling of the cascade hydropower plants in the trunk stream of the Yangtze River in a science-based way, thus producing the best possible results regarding comprehensive benefits of water resources in the Yangtze River Basin.
