Giving full play to comprehensive benefits:

In 2023, CYPC responded to the challenge of slightly poor inflow from the Yangtze River with effective countermeasures, and operated the world's largest clean energy corridor through lean operation and maintenance, thus maximizing the comprehensive benefits of cascade hydropower plants, and ensuring water supply, power generation, navigation and ecological security of the Yangtze River Basin.

Securing energy supply:

The daily maximum power generation capacity of cascade hydropower plants reached 1,468 GWh, and hit a record of daily power generation over 1,000 GWh for 53 consecutive days. By virtue of such strong performance, CYPC effectively alleviated the power supply tension in the power distribution area, and played an important role in the safe and stable operation of power grids.

Strengthening safety control:

CYPC continued to improve the safety management system, developed the safety culture with the core concept of "five kinds of safety promotion", and achieved the goal of "zero personal casualties and zero equipment accident" in work safety for 14 consecutive years.

Pursuing perfection:

CYPC has been operating and managing the cascade hydropower plants by practicing the production concept of "Accurate Control, Lean Operation and Meticulous Maintenance" in depth, and carrying out joint optimal scheduling of the cascade hydropower plants in the trunk stream of the Yangtze River in a science-based way, thus aiming to produce the best possible results regarding comprehensive benefits of water resources in the Yangtze River Basin.
