The Baihetan Dam project was officially handed over to the Baihetan Hydropower Plant, marking the Company's full takeover of the main works of the Baihetan Hydropower Station.

The cumulative power generation of the six cascade hydropower stations on the main stream of the Yangtze River under CYPC exceeded 3,500 TWh, equivalent to saving over 1 billion tonnes of standard coal and reducing CO2 emissions by more than 2.8 billion tonnes.

The Company's subsidiary, Luz del Sur, completed the acquisition and asset transfer of the Sapphire Wind Power Project in Peru, marking the first-ever controlling acquisition of photovoltaic and wind power assets by a Chinese enterprise in the country.

The cascade hydropower plants along the Yangtze River successfully managed three numbered floods, with a total flood retention volume of around 13.45 billion m3 and a peak reduction rate of over 50%, thereby safeguarding people's lives and property in the Yangtze River Basin.

The cumulative power generation of the Xiluodu-Xiangjiaba cascade hydropower plants exceeded 1 trillion kWh over the years, equivalent to replacing over 300 million tonnes of standard coal and reducing CO2 emissions by more than 820 million tonnes.

The Company's market capitalization reached CNY 789.8 billion during intraday trading, hitting a record high.

During the 2024 APEC meetings held in Lima, Peru, from November 10 to 16, CYPC continuously optimized measures to ensure regional power supply, actively undertook related support tasks, and successfully fulfilled its service mission for the event, earning high praise from the Chinese Embassy in Peru.
November 26
The Xiluodu Reservoir was impounded to a water level of 598.84 meters, successfully completing its 2024 impoundment task. This marks the successful completion of the 2024 impoundment season for all six cascade reservoirs on the main stem of the Yangtze River.

The Company cumulatively took over the operation and maintenance of 25 stations under the Lower Jinsha River Integrated Wind-Solar-Hydro-Storage Base, with a total installed capacity exceeding 3,000 MW, and all of the first batch of 23 photovoltaic projects on the Yunnan side were fully commissioned.
As of December 31
The six cascade hydropower plants on the main stream of the Yangtze River generated a total of 295.904 TWh throughout the year, providing strong and reliable energy supply, and receiving high praise from the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the power-receiving provinces and cities. The Company achieved its work safety "zero-accident, zero-fatality" targets for the 15th consecutive year.
