Deepening mutually beneficial cooperation:

CYPC continues to deepen strategic cooperation with governments, customers, research institutes, etc., and strengthen the integration of resources and complementation of advantages with stakeholders, aiming to achieve mutual benefits and a win-win scenario with stakeholders.

Creating a responsible supply chain:

CYPC has incorporated such matters as work safety, social responsibility and environmental protection into the supplier evaluation criteria to strengthen the qualification examination and assessment of suppliers. It also focuses on hierarchical and leveled management, establishes supplier classification standards, and revises supplier management methods, so as to improve supplier management level. Besides, it has realized bidding & tendering and contract management all online to ensure the transparency in procurement transactions and business practices. It has clearly put forward its work requirements for honest performance and protection of migrant workers' rights and interests at annual meetings and symposiums to convey its concept of responsibility to its suppliers.

Joining the efforts to spur the development of the industry:

CYPC has been deeply involved in events of social groups and societies, and undertaken many industry conferences such as an annual meeting of the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering (CSEE) and a meeting of the Special Committee on Basin Energy under Changjiang Technology and Economic Society to strengthen the exchanges and sharing of technical achievements. After efforts of CYPC, 45 technical achievements were made, including the R&D and application of pure water pipe cleaning equipment for giant generating units with water cooled intercoolers and the exploration and practice of intelligent complex construction for improving the efficiency of enterprise management, and 1 technician was honored by the society. By the end of 2022, the Company had joined 87 social groups with wide influence across the country and the industry, such as China Society for Hydropower Engineering, Chinese National Committee on Large Dams, and China Electric Equipment Management Association, and originated work of six special committees, including the Special Committee on Power System Automation under China Society for Hydropower Engineering, the Special Committee on Relay Protection and Excitation under China Society for Hydropower Engineering, and the Special Committee on Basin Energy of Changjiang Technology and Economic Society.

Strengthening international exchanges:

CYPC organized and participated in international seminars of the International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD), the IEA Hydro, etc. It also led the work of the secretariat of the Special Committee for Integrated Operation of Hydropower Stations and Reservoirs at the ICOLD regarding discussions and cooperation regarding the management of cascade reservoirs and the integrated utilization of water resources in the basin, so as to enhance scientific and technological innovation capabilities through open exchanges. The Company also has a reserve of inter-disciplinary talents who have excellent professional skills and strong international exchange abilities, helping to expand its influence in the international hydropower industry.
