In 2021, China Yangtze Power New Energy Co., Ltd was established to implement CYPC's new energy business development strategy and promote the goals of investment, construction and operation of new energy projects. The company's core business is mainly engaged in the "water-wind-electricity integration" of renewable energy base located in the lower reaches of the Jinsha River in Yunnan Province and both sides of Sichuan Province, including the development, investment and operation management of wind energy, solar energy, pumped storage and energy storage.
