Recently, the 94th Annual Meeting of the International Commission on Large Dams (ICOLD) was successfully held in Guadalajara, Mexico, with approximately 1,330 expert representatives from 87 countries including China, Japan, and Portugal attending the meeting. CYPC, as the presidium organization of the Technical Committee on Integrated Operation of Hydropower Stations and Reservoirs (TC-K), participated in the meeting and organized related work of the committee.
During the meeting, CYPC delivered a work report to the ICOLD Committee Chairs' Meeting, detailing TC-K's progress and future plans during its term. The Company also engaged in extensive discussions with 28 other committees on topics such as past achievements, management innovation, and future cooperation. Additionally, CYPC led the organization of the 14th TC-K Annual Meeting, where a phased review of the term report was conducted. In collaboration with the Committee on Flood Evaluation and Dam Safety (TC-S), CYPC also co-hosted a special symposium on "Flood Evaluation and Dam Safety: Intelligent Technologies and Methods. At the symposium, CYPC shared practical experiences in the application of watershed digital twin technology, and over 50 technical representatives from 19 countries conducted in-depth discussions on aspects such as forecasting efficiency, application effectiveness, and technical applicability.
Building on the momentum of this meeting, CYPC will continue to deepen its core business and drive innovation. By strengthening internal and external coordination, CYPC aims to offer the "Three Gorges Solution" for the safe operation and high-quality development of dams worldwide.
