The event themed as "An Inside Look at Listed Companies" was successfully held in Yichang City, Hubei Province, from November 17 to 18, 2025. It was sponsored by the Listed Companies Association of Beijing ("LCAB") and undertaken by China Yangtze Power Co., Ltd. ("CYPC"). It brought together more than 40 participants, including board directors and senior executives from LACB member companies, as well as media reporters at the Three Gorges Dam Area. At the event, they engaged in in-depth discussions on M&A and restructuring experience and explored pathways for the high-quality development of listed companies.
The research tour included visits to the Three Gorges Project, the Three Gorges Project Museum, and the Yangtze River Biodiversity Research Center. During the tour, the participants gained an in-depth understanding of the project's immense comprehensive benefits in flood control, power generation, and navigation, as well as the practical ESG achievements of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) and CYPC.
As for the forum, it centered on the theme "M&A and Restructuring for Becoming Stronger, Bigger, and Better". It covered the regulatory landscape, trends, and recent practices for A-share M&A and restructuring, emphasizing its significance for corporate growth, industry advancement, and the national economy. At the forum, ZHANG Chuanhong, CFO of CYPC, shared the company's experience and achievements in M&A and restructuring. He detailed the specific pathways for optimizing resource allocation and expanding business through M&A strategies, and elaborated on the challenges faced and corresponding countermeasures, providing valuable insights for other listed companies in attendance.
This event is designed to build more platforms for listed companies to learn and exchange ideas. By promoting resource integration and leveraging complementary strengths, it assists the listed companies in optimizing their capital structure and boosting core competitiveness amid a volatile market, thereby achieving the goal of becoming stronger, bigger, and better.
