On August 7, CYPC held the 2025 Conference on Reform and Development in Wuhan. HE Hongxin, Vice Board Chairman and Secretary of Party Committee of CYPC, attended the conference and delivered a speech, while LIU Haibo, President and Deputy Secretary of Party Committee presided over the conference.

On the conference, Mr. HE conveyed the guiding principles of the 2025 Reform and Development Seminar of CTG, summarized the work in the first half of the year, analyzed the current situation, and led the discussion over the development ideas for the "15th Five-Year Plan". Through this conference, the company reached consensus and gathered joint strength for achieving the annual production and operation goals with high quality, and ensuring the successful conclusion of the "14th Five-Year Plan" and the scientific planning of the "15th Five-Year Plan".

It was pointed out at the conference that in the first half of the year, CYPC followed the general principle of seeking progress while keeping performance stable, and achieved the goals of a "good start" in the first quarter and "dual halfway goals" in the first half of the year. Specifically, the company maintained a good momentum in work safety, provided a strong guarantee in energy supply, promoted Party building into depth, delivered notable achievements and contributed to the stable growth of CTG.

At present, the company is positioned in a critical period for flood control and energy supply guarantee. Five core requirements were put forward at the conference. First, we should spare no effort to ensure the successful conclusion of the "14th Five-Year Plan". Second, to guard the flood safety of the Yangtze River, we should take multiple measures to ensure safe flood control. Third, to hold the bottom line of safety, we should fulfill the responsibility for work safety, and ensure the safe and stable operation of the Key National Assets. Fourth, to ensure energy supply, we should enhance the core competitiveness in joint operation and O&M of cascade hydropower plants, and promote the safe and stable operation of the power grid. Fifth, to deepen the Party building, we should create a clean and upright atmosphere for work and entrepreneurship.

It was emphasized at the conference that CYPC, as the main electric power production entity and capital operation carrier of CTG, should resolutely implement the decisions and arrangements of CTG, focus on hydropower sector and the Yangtze River, make scientific plans for key tasks during the "15th Five-Year Plan period", thereby achieving effective improvement in quality and reasonable growth in quantity, and providing fundamental guarantees for the strategic development of CTG.

Production and Technology Department, the Three Gorges Cascade Dispatch & Communication Center and other departments and units of the company made speeches at the conference. The company leaders, Chief Specialist, Chief Officers and Assistants, as well as heads of all departments and units attended the meeting.
