The 100 MW PV Power Generation Project at Nantan PV Power Generation Industrial Park (in Ganzhou District, Zhangye City, Gansu Province), CYPC's first self-acquired, self-built, and self-operated renewable energy initiative, has recently reached full capacity and is now generating power, signifying the preliminary completion of CYPC's first "Pumped Storage +" clean energy base.
The project is located in Nantan PV Power Generation Industrial Park in Ganzhou District, Zhangye City, Gansu Province. It is equipped with a 100 kV step-up substation and a 15 MW/60 MW energy storage system. It is the first project among the batch of 1 GW renewable energy projects in Zhangye City to achieve full-capacity production and power generation. Once completed, it is expected to generate approximately 198.4 GWh of clean energy annually. It can save around 59,700 tons of standard coal and cut carbon dioxide emissions by about 163,500 tons. The project is of great significance in assisting the local area to optimize its energy structure and enhance the security of power supply.
In addition, another 100 MW renewable energy project, secured via the Zhangye Pumped Storage Power Station, has also been registered. Progress on all associated tasks is proceeding smoothly. Going forward, CYPC will continue to advance the development of the Zhangye "Pumped Storage +" clean energy base, following the philosophy of "integrated resource acquisition, unified base construction, and coordinated power station operation", thereby providing strong impetus for the high-quality growth of CTG's clean energy business.
