The Karachi Wind Power Project is CYPC's first overseas new energy project under its independent operation and maintenance. In 2019, following the unified deployment by the Three Gorges Corporation, CYPI formed an O&M team who was sent to Sindh in Pakistan to take over the maintenance of the Karachi Wind Power Project. Over the past five years, upholding the Three Gorges Spirit and implementing the "Lean management –Accountability" culture concept of CYPC, CYPI overseas O&M team has fully leveraged its core capabilities and technological advantages in power station operation, maintenance, and safety management. Upon arriving on-site, based on the actual situation of the project, the team tailored a scientific and comprehensive O&M management system for the Karachi Wind Power Project and trained a pool of talents good at local O&M management.

In the future, CYPC will closely follow the pace of "going global" of the Three Gorges Corporation, give full play to the core competence of large-scale hydropower operation management, and share the "CTG Standard" and "CYPC Solutions" with the international society, so as to contribute to building CTG as a world-class enterprise.
