On April 26, 2024, LDS held the delivery ceremony for its acquisition of the equity of PEM & PE3H in Lima, Peru. All board directors of LDS and heads of relevant departments from China Yangtze Power International (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. (CYPI) attended the ceremony, which was hosted by Mario Gonzalez, General Manager of LDS.

PEM & PE3H has two wind farms in operation in Departamento de Ica, Peru, with total installed capacity of 129 MW and annual average power generation of about 650 GWh. The two wind farms have been operated under long-term electricity purchase contracts between PEM & PE3H and Peru government.

This transaction marks the first acquisition of wind power project by LDS, and signifies another major achievement of LDS in expanding its horizon in the clean energy market of Peru after its acquisition of Arrow photovoltaic project. Though the acquisition, CYPC has forged a diversified development pattern featuring "hydropower, wind power and photovoltaic power", thus laying a solid foundation for further promoting the synergistic development of the "power generation - power distribution" industry chain.
