On August 29, in the First Village Near the Dam, Niuzhaping Village in Dianjun District, Yichang City, TGEE, an affiliated company of CYPC , successfully held a groundbreaking ceremony for its Demonstration Project for the Study and Application of Key Energy Technology for Low-Carbon Transformation in Rural Vitalization.
The project focuses on the integrated development of clean energy plus rural vitalization in Niuzhaping Village, Dianjun District. With the goal of achieving green and low-carbon development in the rural area, the project will be implemented by integrating energy resources such as solar and water within the village, leveraging a regional hybrid grid scheduling technology and the efficient smart energy utilization demonstration technology with various forms of energy storage. In this way, the project will create new models for water and electricity supply and consumption in rural areas, exploring development pathway for constructing a new-type integrated energy system featuring a full coordination of power source, grid, load, and storage。
The project will employ various measures, including the establishment of photovoltaic water lifting systems, water-saving self-service car washers, carports integrating solar energy, storage and EV charging, regional solar energy storage DC grid systems, and integrated smart energy management platforms, aiming to deeply tap into the potential of clean energy utilization in rural areas, comprehensively optimize the rural energy utilization experience, and effectively improve the digital management and control capabilities in rural areas. Upon completion, it will become a zero-carbon rural tourism demonstration project.
This project is a significant initiative of CYPC in actively responding to the national carbon peaking and carbon neutrality goals and rural vitalization strategy. It also marks a pioneering exploration in promoting rural green development through the business of integrated smart energy. The project truly transforms the concept of a "zero-carbon countryside" into reality, offering important technological support and fresh perspectives for the building of livable, business-friendly, and beautiful rural areas, as well as the sustainable development of the local economy and society.
Representatives from TGEE and relevant departments of the Dianjun District Government participated in the groundbreaking ceremony.
