Recently, Luz Del Sur has completed its first charging station for electric vehicles in Miraflores, Lima, Peru. The President Mario of LDS, Minister of the Peruvian Production Ministry, Minister of the Peruvian Transport Ministry, and Director of Miraflores, attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the charging station.

Located in the Block 16 of La Paz Avenue, Miraflores, the charging station is equipped with 60 KW fast charging and 22 KW slow charging piles, which apply to any type of electric vehicle, and will provide users with 6 months of free charging service. Mario said in an interview with the local media that Luz Del Sur, as a company with the goal of sustainable development, hopes to promote the use of clean energy vehicles in Peru through the construction of charging piles and make contributions to the energy conservation and emission reduction in Peru.

Since the acquisition of Luz Del Sur, in combination with the development reality of Luz Del Sur and the development needs of clean energy in Peru, CYPC has strengthened the construction of basic support facilities for clean energy, actively promoted clean energy, and provided convenience for customers to enjoy low-carbon life, to make contributions to the sustainable low-carbon development of Peru.
