Recently, the expert review conference for the initial testing of the China Yangtze Power Company (CYPC) industrial internet platform research and development (R&D) project was held in Yichang, Hubei. Experts from the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, the Technology Innovation Department of the China Three Gorges Corporation, and the Wuhan Science and Technology Innovation Park reviewed the project achievements.

During the review meeting, the project team presented a detailed report and demonstration of the platform's construction ideas, demonstration applications, and achieved results. After questioning and evaluation, the expert group highly praised the project's achievements. They unanimously agreed that the CYPC's industry internet platform is the first industrial intelligence core engine in the hydropower industry in China. The platform has a scientifically reasonable architecture, powerful functions, advanced technology, rich application scenarios, and a large management scale. It has achieved independent innovation in core technology for application system development and has reached an internationally advanced and domestically leading level.

It is reported that CYPC's industrial internet platform project was officially launched in 2020. It integrates the experience of large-scale unit operation and maintenance management and the lean production management philosophy of the CYPC, serving as a lever for the company's digital transformation. The project provides a unified technical foundation and operation environment for the company's digital construction and serves as the primary support for the unified construction, management, and operation of the company's digital applications.

Relevant management personnel from CYPC's production technology department, technology innovation department, digital management center, and technology center attended the meeting.
