The giant hydropower involved in this medium- and long-term contract can provide over 200 TWh of clean energy annually, which is equivalent to saving about 61.28 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 167.6 million tons; Based on an assumption that every KWh of electricity produces GDP of RMB 13.8, it can contribute to China's GDP of more than RMB 2.76 trillion, producing huge environmental and economic benefits.
