Recently, the annual maintenance and overhaul of the No. 9 unit at Gezhouba Power Station, the No. 3 unit at Xiangjiaba Power Station, and the No. 11 unit at Three Gorges Power Station, overseen by CYPC Overhaul and Maintenance Factory (OMF) of the Three Gorges Group, was completed. All three units achieved a 100% success rate in their first start-up after maintenance, with key operational indicators meeting the standards of high-quality units, laying a solid foundation for the safe and stable operation of the units.

Since the annual maintenance and overhaul began, adhering to maintenance guidelines and regulations, OMF has utilized the basin maintenance support system to strengthen process management. It has formulated standard operating procedures and construction plan networks, and clarified task lists and important nodes. In addition, it has optimized personnel allocation, and developed guiding documents such as typical maintenance operation safety and quality risk lists, and construction plans. To improve maintenance efficiency and management, OMF has also intensified the application of innovative technologies such as laser cladding on head cover, on-site machining of runner wearing rings, and underwater robots.

Upholding the culture concept of “Perfection-Responsibility”, OMF will continue to craft high-quality units. It will coordinate and carry out subsequent annual maintenance and overhaul, ensuring the stable operation of “the Pillars of a Great Power”.
