Release time:2023-10-08

On September 21, under the leadership of CYPC, relevant departments and subsidiaries held a meeting in Wuhan with the delegation from LDS, including directors Paul Miraldo and Ignacio Herrero, and CEO Mario Gonzalez, who visited China for the first time. Company leaders including President ZHANG Xingliao, CFO ZHAN Pingyuan, and Vice President XIE Jun and CHEN Hui of CYPC attended the meeting.

At the meeting, participants heard a report on the overall status of production and operation, financial management, and legal compliance management of LDS. Relevant departments and subsidiaries of CYPC introduced the management situation in various business sectors of the company. Both sides also had in-depth discussions on business management, financial management, work safety, smart energy development, and reform of the power market.

ZHANG Xingliao extended a warm welcome to the delegation from LDS, and highly praised the Management of LDS for their persistent efforts in promoting the company's business management. ZHANG Xingliao noted that over the past three years, CYPC and LDS had worked together and established a sound relationship of mutual trust and a bridge of double win in areas such as business management and cultural integration. Based on these efforts, LDS has achieved new breakthroughs in various aspects of its work, with its business performance seeing a moderate increase.

ZHANG Xingliao emphasized that LDS should take development as the top priority. He urged LDS to draw upon the successful experience of CYPC in the fields of power generation, distribution and sales to accelerate the development of existing power plants, facilitate the expansion into new business areas, and advance the company's equipment upgrading and transformation, thus continuously increasing its service capabilities and improving its service quality to lay a foundation for the sustainable and stable growth of the company's business performance. Besides, ZHANG Xingliao stressed that LDS should always keep a strong sense of responsibility to ensure safety in production, actively implement the "double zero" (zero personal injuries and zero equipment accidents) management philosophy and strive to play a leading role in the power industry in South America.

Heads of relevant departments and subsidiaries of CYPC, and CFO and Chief Legal Adviser of LDS attended the meeting.
